New Rotational Art Program Launches

The Coon Rapids Arts Commission is launching a new program to allow local and regional artists to display their work at City Hall.

The City and the arts commission are committed to promoting and integrating arts, culture and public aesthetics throughout the community. Displaying art at City Hall gives local and regional artists the opportunity to share their work publicly, while beautifying City facilities.

Artists must submit an application online to be considered for quarterly display terms. The commission will select new artwork every three months to be displayed at City Hall.

Complete an online application and submit artwork at coonrapidsmn.gov/PublicArtApplication.

Quarterly Terms to Display Art

  • Jan. 1-March 31 (artists selected and notified by Dec. 1)
  • April 1-June 30 (artists selected and notified by March 1)
  • July 1-Sept. 30 (artists selected and notified by June 1)
  • Oct. 1-Dec. 31 (artists selected and notified by Sept. 1)
