Night to Unite Moves to Virtual Platform October 6

Coon Rapids Police will offer residents a virtual Night to Unite experience this year, instead of attending in-person gatherings which have been typical in years past. The annual event normally held on the first Tuesday in August was postponed until October 6 due to the Coronavirus pandemic. After careful consideration of current public health guidelines, the Coon Rapids Police Department will offer a virtual Night to Unite alternative to the traditional neighborhood parties. For the safety of employees and residents, police and firefighters will not offer in-person visits.

Instead, the police department has planned a full lineup of virtual events including demonstrations, tours and live Q & A sessions with members of the Coon Rapids Police and Fire Departments.

All virtual activities will stream live on the Coon Rapids Police Department’s Facebook page

Tuesday, October 6, 2020
Starting at 5:30 p.m.

Coon Rapids Police are passionate about their partnerships throughout the community. Police officers and firefighters look forward to visiting neighborhood parties and building relationships with neighbors on Night to Unite each year. The police department is excited to offer an innovative alternative to in-person events and harness the power of social media to reinvent Night to Unite connections. We hope you will join us!

Tune in at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 6 on the Coon Rapids Police Department Facebook page. See you then!
