Developmental Hockey

Developmental Hockey is available for coaches to schedule one-on-one ice time with their skaters. 

• Pre-registration required
• Coach registration is $45 
  • 4 coaches are allowed to register per session
  • Each coach may bring up to 4 skaters

Rules and Regulations

1. Full USA Hockey gear is required for users 17 years of age and younger. All users 18 and older are required to wear a helmet.
2. Coaches must pre-register before noon the previous day 
3. Users may not take the ice until the Zamboni is off the ice and the gate is shut
4. On-ice adult supervision is required for all youth 17 and under
5. 4 on-ice training areas – 1 net per area, maximum of 4 nets on ice
6. Each Coach is allowed one training area with a maximum of 4 skaters per area
7. Open/pick-up hockey is not allowed during Developmental Ice time
8. When conducting hockey drills, please be considerate of other groups/skaters
9. Skaters/Coaches deemed to not be considerate of other groups will be asked to leave the ice by Coon Rapids Ice Center Management

Note: Developmental Hockey sessions may be cancelled if there are no registrants and an opportunity arises for a full-ice rental.
