Step 1

Call the Facilities Coordinator, or fill out the online Rental Request Form for fees and other information.

Step 2

Event Calendar

Check our Event Calendar to see if your desired dates and times are available

Step 3

Read the Rental Policy.  If you plan to serve alcohol, make sure you have read and understand the alcohol serving requirements. You are welcome to bring in your own food and non-alcoholic beverages. If using a caterer, and they need to use the kitchen, they must provide us with a copy of their MN catering license.

Step 4

Fill out and submit your Civic Center Rental Application. We will put your event on the calendar and reply to your email with the statement, the contract, and the end-of-event checklist. There will also be instructions on how to make your payment.

Step 5

Your rental agreement will be official upon receipt of the signed contract and at least 1/2 of the Room Rental Fee. The balance is due 30 days BEFORE your event. If you are booking a space within 30 days of your event then the entire balance is due when you receive the statement from us. You can make ONLINE PAYMENTS with any major credit or debit card, call us with a Visa or MC, mail a check, or stop in with cash.

Step 6

Decide if you are in need of linens such as tablecloths, napkins, backdrops and ceiling draping. Also decide if you need to rent dinner plates and flatware, coffee makers, sound system, or any other items. Fees for rental items are listed on the last page of the Fee Schedule (PDF).
